Look Younger Naturally

by Geoff Hopkins

Wrinkle creams can be expensive. Most everyone wants to look younger. There are a few key things to look for when making a purchase so you can look up to 10 years younger! Choosing a wrinkle cream amongst the myriad of options can be overwhelming. But, if you pick the right one, you have an easy to use product. It can be expensive though. To keep costs down one could always make their own simple and effective anti-wrinkle cream using household products.

If you want to ease the lines away, it's mandatory that you moisturize. The heaviest
moisturizers you can get are coconut oil, aloe vera and cocoa butter. Older skin needs to be replenishes and thes moisturizers have the power to do it.

Antioxidants are necessary to keep the skin's cellular decomposition at bay. Lycopene and vitamin c can serve as a final bastion against this. Your skin needs nutrients to fight the battle against cell breakdown. You have to give it the tools to win. As most everyone knows, brown age spots are caused from too much sun exposure. Wear sunblock. Most people need about SPF 20. A good commercial anti-aging cream will contain this so make sure to verify it. Too much sun exposure can cause wrinkle formation, rapid aging and potentially, cancer. To know exactly what you are putting on your face, you can make some great at home products.

A good oil should be the foundation, such as olive oil, as this is the main ingredient in most commercial skin creams anyway. Cocoa or shea butter are two other good choices to purchase. Now that you have you base or either oil, cocoa or shea butter, an active ingredient is needed. It has to be some natural substance that will give the cream it's scent and properties. Remember the mention of lycopene and vitamin c earlier. These would be great ingredients. Usually, the active ingredient is a fruit, vegetable or nut. Just remember it will only keep in the refrigerator for a week. If you need your cream to last longer than a week you can always do and extraction. This is done by leaving the active agent in boiling water and upon cooling, mix it into your cream or oil. This will make a long lasting cream.
